Eat.Paint.Live

A blog on things I'm most passionate about in life...

It’s been a while since I’ve painted, only because I’ve been slacking and the weather has been kinda blah. Lo and behold, I finally managed to get out to the free wall in Redmond and paint in some decent Seattle bi-polarish spring weather. I haven’t worked with this style before so bear with me as I am still in my “beginner’s experimenting phases”.
My friend helped me out with the block-y background. Doesn’t it kinda remind you of a city night skyline/skyscape and the 3-D looks like lights? this is the first time I’ve done an outline in bright yellow with three different color fades for the fill. This was also my first time using Flame cans (see 3-D color in yellow green). It wasn’t that bad, but the smell is a little horrid so it takes some time getting used to. I still prefer my Belltons though. They’re the best in my book when it comes to sprays!
Anyway, i dedicated this piece to my friend Anita Neomahavong, who passed away this past week from Lupus. She liked the color purple. RIP Anita Bonita
